Oh, the enigmatic Indigo plant… Let’s just say I’ve been growing Indigo for seven years, and only two years ago was I able to attain the deep and brilliant blue it is known for. She’s a tricky one, but I will teach you all my secrets! You will leave this class with an understanding of two different Indigo processes, including a fresh leaf reduction vat using locally grown Japanese Indigo!!
Each participant will be able to dye 5 silk handkerchiefs, and for a final project can choose between a large silk scarf OR 3oz of wool. (Please specify which one you would like when you register!)
*Cancellation Policy: Luna Fiber Studio does not issue refunds, but in the case of extreme weather conditions, the fee you paid will turn into Studio Credit, and you will be able to use it towards any other service or product offered at Luna.
